Lone Oak Lodge

We were so happy with our stay here. Our room was newly updated and spotlessly clean. The staff here are doing a great job! We will happily return when we’re in the area.

We got the Classic Suite at Loan Oak Lodge! The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Their beddings were hotel-quality! They had free coffee and ice. Toiletries were also available. It was a good experience staying with them!

This lodge was clean and spacious. Good location as its about 10 mins from Cannery Row. I gave 4 stars because while rooms was clean its very plain. The lighting was so bright it was uncomfortable. Lamps would be a nice touch. Also the bed while good quality was very hard. One reason I went with this place was for the jacuzzi tubs. This wasn't in my room. Very disappointing. The website made it seem as though all rooms had one. Good for a one night stay but any longer I would probably pick another place.

I stayed for five nights in January and agree with the great reviews. Very clean rooms, nice staff and check in was quick. You can check in early for a fee , 30.00 and my room was already cleaned and ready. Nice stay, quiet and Wi-Fi worked well. Other reviews said they did not have a microwave but there was a microwave and fridge in the room, so they do provide everything. Towels were nice and more than enough. Great location, close to everything. I’d stay again and recommend. Thank you for such a great stay!

A fantastic place to stay in Monterey. The rooms are spacious, really clean and the beds are firm and comfy. We had a great night's sleep. A previous reviewer claimed the rooms are not blackout, but the blinds are, you merely have to turn them up rather than down for full effect to block the light. Whilst you are under the flight path of the local airport, we found the flights stopped at around 7pm and started again at 6.30am so this wasn't a problem. Otherwise the rooms are very quiet. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Monterey.

Rooms are modern, moderately large, and clean. Enough parking - wish I had known to make the reservation directly with them to get a price match and park for free instead of $11. The neighborhood is standard - just a liquor store across the street and a couple restaurants down the street, nothing great right there, but a quick drive to all the attractions.

Stayed here for weekend diving tour, super cute, cozy, spacious and clean room. Pet friendly with fridge and microwave. Friendly staff! Will definitely stay here again for my next diving trip!!! Highly recommended.

Quant little motel with recent remodel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean rooms with modern lighting and the usual coffee/mini fridge/microwave. Our two-room gave us a total of 2 queens, 1 king, one bath, and two of the above. HVAC is handled by the old-school in-wall units which do the job admirably. Some TLC was still needed around interior corners and the decorative flowerpots looked in need of replacing. The biggest plus for me was the POWERFUL shower (think pre-21st Century standard). Convenient location for most everything you could want. NOTE: If you're new to the area, Monterey has some of the nastiest-tasting tap water around. Strongly recommend bringing bottled, or some sort of filtration equipment.
